Jake Bugg - A review

So over the last month or two I have been 'fan girling' over a smashing upcoming talent who goes by the name of Jake Bugg, an 18 year old wonder from Clifton, Nottingham.

Bugg is a new, outstanding talent breaking upon the folk/indie music scene, his music already attracting the attention from the likes of the Stone Roses and Noel Gallagher.

Being only on the scene for about a year, he has already played at Glastonbury 2011 on the BBC Introducing stage and featured on Later Live with Jools Holland in May earlier this year.

If you haven't already listened to Jake, here are five tracks, picked by me, for you to listen to;

•Lightning Bolt
•Taste It
•Someone Told Me
•Saffron
•Love Me The Way You do

It was announced not so long ago that his debut album will be released 15th October 2012, which promises to be a treat for all who listen.
The track list follows;

•Lightning Bolt
•Two Fingers
•Taste It
•Seen It All
•Simple As This
•Country Song
•Broken
•Ballad Of Mr Jones
•Slide
•Someone Told Me
•Note To Self
•Someplace
•Fire

Don't be put off by my use of the word folk, whatever genre of music you are interested in, you will not be able to stop foot tapping or singing. Trust me, you'll love every second of his music, give him a listen, please?
