Festival No.6 Announcement

NOEL Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be joined by Hot Chip and Bastille to headline the fifth Festival No.6.

Based in Portmeirion, North Wales, Festival No.6 will this year run from 1st to 4th September 2016.

The festival will also play tribute to David Bowie, commissioning Joe Duddell and the Manchester Camerata chamber orchestra to create David Bowie Reimagined.

The performance will contain multi-various tracks from Bowie's career and has been rumoured to feature top secret guest vocalists.

DJ's such as Craig Charles, Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston (A Love from Outer Space) will also take their rightful place upon No.6's notorious electronic stage.

Founder, Gareth Cooper said: "We're extremely excited about this year's festival - our first wave of artists and DJ's is better than ever and there are plenty more surprises up our sleeves.

"We also have a huge amount to announce on the culture, arts and food side of the festival which has become the real heart of No.6.

"All will be revealed very soon but I'm convinced 2016 is destined to be the best yet."

Echo and The Bunnymen, Lucy Rose and Manchester hot-shots, Blossoms are also amongst the gargantuan line-up.

With more exciting announcements in the next few months, Festival No.6 is going to make one huge impact on the end of UK's festival season.
