Paves

FRED Perry favourites, London quartet Paves are a sweet offering delivering a raunchy kind of rock'n'roll.

After several renames and reshuffles, the Paves we see today are years of hard work in the making.

Voted as 2015's New Band of the Year on Cultured Vultures, playing This Feeling's Big in 2016 and touring all around the country, the release of new track, Take Me While I'm Here was welcomed by open arms, showing how this year is set to be an explosive one for the foursome.

The new track has a foreboding fire that holds a a deep warmth from the onset. Tingling riffs begin the track before a hearty beat ticks along with quickening pace, welcoming sixties keys and a cool vocalism that wearily trickles on top of the instrumental.

Once the chorus chimes, front-man, Luke Shield alters his vocals to chirp against the conformity of the sound, showing true promise in creating something perhaps more than the 'trying too hard' indie rock.

Releasing Take Me While I'm Here has only brought great success for Paves, who knows what the future will hold for these likely lads.
