MANCHESTER based psych-rock'n'rollers, Psyblings started out last year, rapidly spreading their gooey-funk sound around the North West.
Dropping latest track 24 Hour Glass a few days ago, these lads are ready to throw all they have into a busy year of building both a live and recording portfolio.
Gaining slots in the likes of The Ruby Lounge and Night & Day plus announcing their support of Viola Beach at Warrington Pyramid on 12th March, here's a name we'll be seeing a lot of.
Submerged deep in a punk sludge, 24 Hour Glass somehow works up a brit-pop pysch daze, conjuring strong feelings of thirst and wanting more.
A mix of Johnny Rotten and Damon Albarn, front-man Greg Dixon's vocalism slip excellently amongst a hard hitting introduction concocted of a wretched beat and fast chords.
Sticky additives are what keep Psyblings ticking over, whatever the future holds, it sure is an exciting one.
Catch them live at Sound Food and Drink, Liverpool on 18th February courtesy of Zig Zag.
