Premiere: Thom Morecroft, 'After The Rain'

ANY Liverpool regular will have had some encounter with the infamous Shrewsbury born artisan, Thom Morecroft, whether its bopping down Bold Street or visiting The Jacaranda's basement to experience an eclectic array of musicians for their Open Mic.

Now on Friday 29th April, Morecroft is set to release brand new four-track EP, After The Rain.

After the successful release of crowd-funded EP, Hand Me Down in January, Morecroft was eager to keep us on our toes with this new, zany release and gave The Music Manual the first listen.

Stripped back and acoustically led, the self-produced After The Rain focuses on the rawness of Morecroft's voice as it dances with guitar picking, quaint harmonies and frank lyricisms that ring true after a wholesome dose of the blues.

After launching the release at The View Two Gallery on 29th April, Morecroft will be embarking on a UK tour spread out over May, June and July for more information visit thommorecroft.com.
