FIFTEEN years on and award-winning Liverpool Music Week is promising yet another fantastic seven+ days of the latest sounds coming from the underground.

Starting on October 27, Liverpool Music Week will once again hit a number of the city's best music venues while keeping up the mystery by introducing secret spaces.

Scooping up the prize of Best Metropolitan Festival at this years UK Festival Awards, the event is set to become bigger than ever with a few extra surprises.

Festival organiser, Mike Deane said: "We were absolutely thrilled and honoured to be crowned Best UK Metropolitan Festival at this year's Festival Awards, pipping some of the best names in the music industry.

"It’s a fantastic recognition for our small team who put in such hard work year after year, and for everyone else involved in the 2016 event, particularly the awesome artists and venues that we have right now in Liverpool. Liverpool Music Week is, and always has been, a very collective effort and we are very proud to bring home such a great accolade for the city.

“It's great to see our friends Creamfields, Sound City and Positive Vibrations pick up various key awards too. Liverpool is buzzing right now and it's inspiring and fitting to see the city sweep the board at this year's ceremony."

Thousands of people attended this years event for one of Merseyside's biggest celebrations of music with our own homegrown artists such as Louis Berry, Clean Cut Kid and She Drew The Gun selling out their headline shows.

Early Bird wristband tickets are available at a cool £20 here.
