BERLIN singer-songwriter Leslie Clio has dropped released her second single And I'm Leaving taken from upcoming album Purple due for release on May 19.
Her debut album Gladys became a huge success in her hometown and helped Leslie achieve a prestigious ECHO nomination.
In the past she has opened for the likes of Joss Stone and Keane and more recently has performed at festivals such as Reeperbahn Festival, Dockville and Eurosonic.
The modern soulfulness of And I'm Leaving pairs wonderfully with the popular chart music of today but works its way into its own arena.
Its tight four-to-the-floor-beat with an instantly addictive melody reaches out to Leslie's oh-so real vocals.
This track could easily be the next smash hit in the indie underworld.
Recorded on a mix of Kahl and Kodak Super 8mm film, the video used three different camera to vary to feel of the project all filmed during Leslie's time in Oahu, Hawaii.
