LIVERPOOL's indie sons Sugarmen are set to embark on a new dawn with their debut single, Sold.
Spending 18 months locked away honing their sound, the four lads have generated a genre that they now feel they can truly own and are set to release their latest track on May 19 via Modern Sky Records.
Sold will be followed by the band's eagerly awaited debut album later on this year.
After recording the tracks at the famous Parr Street Studios, which has had recent successes with the likes of Blossoms and The Coral, Sugarmen teamed up with This Feeling for a 10-date tour around the UK.
A total indie paradise, Sold endures constant fast-pace psychedelia tainted riffs and contagious beats marking a new era for the band who have worked tirelessly around the globe.
Coming in just over two minutes the track is a nod to what's to come, predicting the future of alt. rock like music never has before.
The lads will return home for Liverpool Sound City on Saturday, May 27 and will then go on to Camden Rocks on Saturday, June 3.
