LIVERPOOL'S Smithdown Road Festival will return next year over May Day Bank Holiday.
Organisers have told the festival to expect a jam packed schedule of live music, comedy, theatre and cinema along with plenty for the little ones to do.
This year the festival will take place on Wavertree Park, as well as several venues along Smithdown Road including The Handymans, Craft Taproom, Evil Eye and Naked Lunch.
There will be a total of 14 indoor stages plus two huge outdoor stages.
Last year the event welcomed the likes of Craig Charles, Space, Dave McCabe (The Zutons) and Idles take to the stage, and the organisers are promising to champion this line up for 2018.
Kev McArthur from the festival said: “We’ve been thinking about this since the last festival finished.
"There are some brilliant bands lined up for next year already, and we are working with some fantastic promoters from around the city too.
"First wave of bands to be announced in November, so keep checking back.”
