RETURNING after two years of sell-out shows at the Music Room, Seafoam Green is set to once again shake Liverpool's iconic Philharmonic Hall with his tribute to the Last Waltz.

After making its debut in the city in 2017, promoters Mellowtone have unveiled the beautiful show will make it's highly anticipated return on Friday, November 16.

Joining Seafoam Green will be Phil Campbell, singer with Scottish blues rockers The Temperance Movement.

The night is a nod to The Band's iconic last-ever show on November 25, 1976 at the Hinterland Ballroom, San Fransisco which featured the likes of Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Muddy Waters, Van Morrison and Eric Clapton.

Film director Martin Scorsese filmed the event and made it into a documentary which was released two years later and has been hailed as one of the greatest concert films ever produced.

More than 40 years later The Last Waltz will bring together some of Liverpool's finest musicians who will come together to celebrate its influence and impact on music today.

Last year tracks such as The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down and Ophelia filled the air among a setlist of around 20 tunes.

The night will be the ultimate 'tribute' - a beautiful sentiment of the world The Band left behind.

Tickets are available from £20 via www.liverpoolphil.com/whats-on/the-last-waltz-2018 or by calling The Philharmonic Hall Box Office on 0151 709 3789.
