The Coral to officially open Liverpool's hottest new music venue Jimmy's

THE CORAL will open Liverpool's hottest new music venue Jimmy's on it's official opening night.

Based at the former site of the legendary Cabin Club, Jimmy's will throw open the doors to its new Merseyside base on Thursday, August 1.

And who else to officially open the venue in style but The Coral - and tickets have already sold out.

Founded by brothers Jimmy and George Craig, Jimmy's has already confirmed several shows heading to the three-floor venue this year.

You may have seen George before, he was the front-man of indie band One Night Only.

He said: “Eagle-eyed music fans across the city have spent the last few weeks speculating about an upcoming announcement we’ve been teasing, and we’re excited to finally reveal that we’ll be welcoming none other than The Coral to the venue for our opening night.

"As one of the region’s most-loved bands, we’re sure their support will help our Liverpool launch shape up to be one of the biggest nights in Jimmy’s history.”

First established in Manchester’s Northern Quarter in 2016, Jimmy’s has become a firm favourite on the live-music circuit.

Jimmy added: “George and I have been regulars on the music scene since we were teenagers and we’re both huge fans of The Coral.

"We are thrilled to have them with us to open the new Liverpool venue at what looks to be one of the city’s most anticipated events.

"The band themselves have been so influential to us and are just one of the many local artists that have made us feel right at home here in Liverpool with all of their support.”
