The Lightning Seeds, The Christians and China Crisis heading to Birkenhead Park

MERSEYSIDE legends The Lightning Seeds will headline a special event at Birkenhead Park this September.

Taking place on Sunday, September 8, the band will be joined by two other iconic Merseysiders - The Christians and China Crisis.

This homecoming show will form part of the Wirral Food & Drink Festival across the weekend and a performance from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra on Saturday, September 7.

The Christians are known for having the highest selling debut album of any artist at Island Records with hits such as Forgotten Town, Ideal World and When the Fingers Point.

With five top 40 singles, China Crisis are best known for their singles such as Black Man Ray, Wishful Thinking and Christian.

The show forms part of the celebrations for Wirral's Borough of Culture year.
