Last few tickets remaining for surreal masquerade ball at Sefton Park's Palm House

TICKETS are still available for surreal masquerade ball Krewe Liverpool 2020 - The Mardi Gras Experience.

The brainchild of Mellowtone's Dave McTague and The Kazimier's Laura Brownhill, this music, dance and costume extravaganza will be heading to the beautiful setting that is Sefton Park's Palm House on Friday, February 7.

A welcomed familiar face at the shindig will be Liverpool's homegrown master of ceremonies Laird Howard Ashley Storey.

Also known as Howard Be Thy name is an icon of the city's boho scene and spent time as ring master of the Magnet's burlesque subterranean circus plus an ever evolving time lord within the much-loved and sadly departed Kazimier.

Eat Up Gud will be providing a menu of gluten free, dairy free and nut free goodness all night with vegan options readily available.

During the evening work will be displayed from Joe Farrag's Neighborhood Gallery, formerly based in Liverpool 8, which had a cultural exchange with Liverpool's twin city of New Orleans during the 1990s.

TIMINGS:

6pm
Doors // DJ Jonnie O’Hare - playing music from and inspired by New Orleans. Get down early for dance taster classes with Mersey Swing, as well as a performance from their 'Kick Backs Krewe'.

8:15pm
The Jubilee Stompers - playing 1920s dance music from New Orleans

9pm
DJ Jonnie O’Hare - playing music from and inspired by New Orleans.

9:30pm
Performances from Krewe Movematazz, The Intergalactic Krunk Krewe, The Harlequin Dynamite Ancients of Balance, followed by an indoor carnival parade.

10:15pm
Frog and Henry - playing 1920s dance music from New Orleans.

The event finishes at 12 midnight.
