A Review - Thomas McConnell

Sounds like Oasis, plays like The Beatles, Thomas McConnell will certainly bring joy to your ears. I listened for 30 seconds and I knew right then, McConnell is something special. The music and talent is so fresh, the influences pour into this creation. With the help of the voice, music comes together with great guitar solos, 60's flicks and Gallagher/Lennon verbal tones.

McConnell, originally from Liverpool, grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne, then moved back to Liverpool and is finding his way around the Merseyside music circuit.

Give him a listen here (Supporting The Matadors);

My Favourite song has to be Stop In The Shade of which you can buy here , again, it's completely new yet it has that nostalgic feeling that you get with a great piece of classic rock 'n' roll.

Now, if i've got your attention, you can see him live supporting China Crisis on these dates;
  • October 22nd    Birmingham Town Hall
  • October 24th     Middlesbrough Theatre
  • November 16th    Stratford Cox's Yard
  • November 22nd   Glasgow King Tuts
  • November 23rd    Newcastle The Sage
  • November 24th    New Brighton Floral Pavillion
  • December 13th    Liverpool The Cavern Club
  • December 14th    Liverpool The Cavern Club

Unfortunately, there isn't much information around for this great new talent but trust me, listen and fall in love with the perfection of the music. When have I ever let you down?
