Samhain, a night of occult electronic exploration at the Liverpool Irish Festival

TAKING place on the most bewitching nights of the Gregorian calendar - we give to you, Samhain, an Occult Electronic Exploration.

As a part of the Liverpool Irish Festival, Samhain will take over Sefton Park's infamous Palm House for a one off Halloween special with artists: Shit Robot, Boxcutter and Sertone all spreading some Irish charm upon their Scouse relatives.

Beginning back in 2003, the festival celebrates the fantastic relationship between country and city, marking the significant influence Ireland has had upon Liverpool and it's people.

What was once a four-day festival with a mere 20 events now has turned into a ten-day extravaganza with way over 50 events, previously welcoming the likes of Van Morrison, Christy Moore and Jimmy McGovern in conversation at FACT.

Spanning from 23rd October to 2nd November, the opportunities to celebrate our heritage are endless with events taking place in over thirty venues in the city including; FACT, St George's Hall and The Bluecoat. This year the festival has also made sure that there is a wider range of art forms celebrated amongst the venues including the likes of: food, football, theatre, exhibitions and music beckoning the wider masses to succumb to the undeniable charm of the Irish.
