FROM across the pond in Rochester, New York, here we present to you an American Indie-Rock band with a difference - Joywave. Fronted by Daniel Armbruster and joined by Joseph Morinelli, Sean Donnelly, Benjamin Bailey and Paul Brenner, the band produce an array of infectious Electro-Rock sounds.

Notable work includes their track, “Dangerous” which topped the Billboard Alternative chart and has more recently featured on FIFA 15.

Gaining significant popularity in the US, Joywave even made their TV debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” performing new single, “Somebody New”. The track is one of ,many up for preview before the release of debut album, “How Do You Feel Now?” on the 18th of May 2015.

“Somebody New” mixes Indie-Rock and Electronica, creating a track that’s loaded with attitude and ability, evoking interest and attention. Searing guitar riffs, funky keyboards and punchy drums all bestow a rhythmic backdrop to Armbruster’s silky, robust voice, bringing balance and simplicity into the mix. The track is accompanied by a resplendently retro music video, that pays homage to the glitches of 00’s video games like “Skate 3” and “Tony Hawk's Pro Skater”. Picked by X Games' as one of their signature songs for 2015, the American quintet are certainly on track for a triumphant year finally allowing them to establish themselves in the UK.

About to embark on a US tour with a series of other bands including; The Kooks, Vance Joy, Cage The Elephant and the Bleachers, Joywave are definitely a band we need to keep an eye on.
