HOTLY-tipped Anglo-Aussie quartet, Sunset Sons, just dropped a music video for track, 'She Wants' which is to released on Polydor. Recorded in the music capital of the world, Nashville, She Wants is set to give the foursome potentially one of the most successful breaks any band has seen since the 60s.
Whilst the road to success has not been easy, Sunset Sons' debut EP, Le Surfing, angled its way into iTunes' Top 10 rock chart. Little did they know last year, that they'd bag themselves a sweet deal with Polydor and be finishing their first album.
Already completing a sold out tour of the UK, Sunset Sons are to take to a gargantuan 19-date festival tour around Europe, including Liverpool International Music Festival on 31st August.
The track has a chart-topping feel from the onset, throwing a funk groove around with the bass. Front-man Rory Williams beholds a gnarling voice, ripping into that raw vocalism of the likes of James Bay and Hozier, so highly sort after in the competitive industry of today. A classic 'indie-rock' vibe is felt from the onset yet, rather than veer away from this, Sunset Sons have embraced it, making it more an individual staple and not one of a mass movement of modern day Hipsters.
Be sure to get your copy of 'She Wants' on 7th August.
