STARTING out four years ago, Reading quartet, Mellor have had a busy year working away in a studio, all the while extensively touring around the UK
Gracing the stage with the likes of The Kooks and Carl Barat, Mellor are proving their 'Pop Smack' sound is becoming more sort after, especially with the response of latest release, Seona on 25th November.
Adopting a drunken vocalism similar to that made famous by Luke Pritchard of The Kooks, front-man Gary Kingham delicately traces an indie-pop sound, revitalising a fantastic genre that gained so much momentum in recent years.
Beginning with a positive hum from bassist Josh Woodward helps drummer Sam Igoe kick up a fuss within the chorus with a flickering beat, harmonising with joyous guitar chords that fully captivate listeners when admiring this tasty tune.
Take a listen to Seona below before the release of Mellor's new EP early next year.
