Trudy

CROONING trio, branching from Leeds, Chesterfield and Bolton, now based in Liverpool, let us introduce you to, Trudy.

Predicted to explode in 2016 after a spectacular seven months, Trudy have an ever growing list of achievements including; airplay on BBC Radio 6, features in ELLE and DIY magazine, alongside working with the incredible Bill Ryder-Jones in Liverpool's Parr Street Studios.

Trudy’s own Cry-Baby and serial heart-breaker, Olly Taylor came across bassist Lewis Rollinson, later discovering childhood pal, Brad Mullins' drumming skills, resulting in the amalgamation that is, Trudy.

Their influences range from the likes of Shannon and the Clams, King Krule, Mac Demarco to Spring King, all of which are apparent within their back catalogue, first admired within saucy debut, All My Love.

Latest release, produced by Spring King’s own Tarek Musa, Behave is a cocktail of influences, fashioned by the trio. Reciting the awkward woes of a teenager and un-reciprocated affliction for another, with a hazy and soulful, doo-wop soundtrack, it’s enough to entice and conjure images straight of a swinging 1950’s prom dance, be sure to listen below.
