Pete Doherty announced as North Stage Headliner at Sound City

ROGUE artisan, Pete Doherty is the latest headliner to be added to the line-up at this years Liverpool Sound City Festival.

On Sunday 29th May, Doherty will be headlining the Jack Rocks North Stage, coinciding with the announcement of his 5-date Eudaimonia UK tour.

Doherty started The Libertines with Carl Barat in the late nineties, releasing album Up the Bracket in 2002, moving on to projects such as Babyshambles whilst receiving a notorious bad-boy image with the press in the early noughties.

Kagoule, Holy Esque and Dilly Dally will warm up the crowds before the poetic genius takes to the stage.

Bill Ryder-Jones and C Duncan have also been announced as part of the Atlantic Stage and Mount Kimbie will be on hand tear up the Baltic Warehouse as a part of Freeze.

In Conversation with Radio X will be chaired by hot-shot presenter, John Kennedy and Dave Haslam welcoming guests such as: actor and director, Paddy Considine, Liverpool high-risers Circa Waves, anarchists Sleaford Mods, Alexei Sayle and Roisin Murphy. 

Cult night, Bongo's Bingo will offer lucky festival goers the chance to win some exceptional goodies on Saturday - be prepared for dance off's, raving and some special guest appearances...
