Recorded at home with some tracks co-produced by Tim Carr, Calnin's latest instalment is the heavily awaited outcome of an electro folk experiment inspired by UK based choreographer, Lukas McFarlane.
His dominance as an artist has seen his material featuring on Oscar Nominated and Academy Award winning film, Room and the likes of Teen Wolf and Suits.
Ultra-Beast is a mystical track that abominates and drifts elegantly alongside Calnin’s gentle hums.
Soft vocals and mystifying melodies jumbled with his heavy folk influences reference the likes of Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver but it is with his modern electronic edge that propels him further into the abyss of musical prowess.
The second part of the Cut Love series will be released Friday 13th May and be Calnin will be hitting the road for a European tour this September.
