Superglu

ESSEX based quartet, SuperGlu are set to release their latest soft-punk track, Weekend on 1st July.

Courtesy of Antigen, the bubblegum set of tracks were recorded at Ipswich's Punch Studios, specialising in vintage recording using an amalgamation of analogue and digital production.

After forming in 2014 they found success with debut single, Diving Bell and EP Horses which saw SuperGlu tearing-up huge sets up and down the country including a modest two appearances at the Great Escape Festival.

Their brit-pop-tainted nineties sound highlights the importance of greats such as Blur and Supergrass with the odd nod to Pulp, showing the versatility in the movement which has warped into SuperGlu.

Weekend is the latest tune to add all the important fun back into the movement. Moving out of the wintery post-punk vibes to don this ever-ripening ray of sunshine, SuperGlu rep gut-wrenching harmonies, screeching oohs and of course, the obligatory, 'stuck like superglue'.

Gigging around London and Ipswich this summer, check out their tour dates on their Facebook below.
