New Zealand guitarist Lanu releases new single Fly Away on 23rd September

NEW Zealand prodigy, Lance Ferguson, aka Lanu, is not a stranger to the music business, as the founder of soul funk outfit The Bamboos and grandson of Bill Wolfgramm, an infamous guitar player, music is all he has ever known.

Taken from new album, Double Sunrise, Fly Away was recorded with the help of French pop queen, Melanie Pain, creating a laid back, Brian Wilson inspired offering which will keep the critics on their toes.

Upon working with Ms Pain, Lanu said: "Just before Melanie Pain recorded on the album she had been on Summer holiday down here in Australia - and maybe that gave this collaboration something special.

"She just totally got it.

"She really makes the sun come out on these songs."

Unafraid of abnormality, Lanu has the ability to create something truly never heard before and it won't be long till more of his solo offerings will be flying from the shelves.
