Liverpool pop-soul songstress Tori Cross to release debut single Italy

LIVERPOOL'S pop-soul songstress Tori Cross will release her debut single 'Italy' on Friday, July 21.

Releasing this track off the back of performing as a backing singer for neo-soul artist XamVolo and popular fusion band Galactic Funk Militia, Tori is taking the limelight with her soulful release.

Recording her track with her band the inspiration comes from watching the film Eat, Pray, Love - trying to find yourself after a heartbreak and allowing yourself to be free.

The track itself is a powerfully cool and slow track similar to the early work of the likes of Kate Nash.

Tori's powerful vocals lead the track over a calm instrumental that follows her undoubted prowess.

One to watch, there's something very intriguing about Tori, who knows what is to come.

Confirmed for The Music Manual's Summer Shindig on Saturday, August 26 at the Buyers Club you can also catch Tori perform at LIMF in Sefton Park on Sunday, July 23.
