Howling Bells' front-woman Juanita Stein ready for Liverpool Buyers Club date

Howling Bells’ front-woman Juanita Stein will head for Liverpool on September 30 courtesy of Harvest Sun Promotions.

After releasing her debut solo record America on July 28 on Nude Records, Australian Juanita has drawn from experience with tours across the US and has expressed how she's influenced by top cult show, Twin Peaks.

Following on from recent slots with Michael Kiwanuka and Richard Hawley she stepped on stage at Hyde Park for Tom Petty's sold-out show with the legendary Stevie Nicks on July 9.

She will now make her mark on Hardman Street's Buyers Club as part of her headline UK tour.

Talking about her latest single 'I'll Cry', Juanita said: "I'll Cry is a musical ode to the all-American greats I took my cues from as a budding songwriter.

"Roy Orbison, Patsy Cline and the work of Phil Spector, all of whom made a significant imprint on my heart, I’m forever  channeling that soulful sadness.

"I’ll Cry is a song that speaks of an impossible love, his resistance, her infatuation.

"Never a happy ending.”
