Described as outing the 'burgeoning local and UK-wide Freakscene' Wrong, taking place on April 28, 2018 has already sold out the first wave of Super Early Bird tickets arguably due to the huge success of last year's event which saw the likes of Bo Ningen, The Wytches and Heck unleash their sound onto the DIY venues of Liverpool.
Organised by Liverpool based record label Loner Noise, the event will take place once again across venues such as the Invisible Wind Factory, North Shore Troubadour and DROP The Dumbulls Gallery.
Their first announcement includes Japanese krautrock legend Damo Suzuki alongside Swansea's Hark, Liverpool's psych-spaceoids Mugstar, Hey Colossus, Kagoule, Sex Swing, The St Pierre Snake Invasion, Alpha Male Tea Party, Milo's Planes and Grey Hairs. We're proud to announce our first wave of bands for next year! Wrong head honcho Michael Edward said: "I think the success of last year can be summed up for me by a question that Dobbs from The Hyena Kill asked me just after their set: ‘Is this the best thing you've ever done?’
"The answer was a resounding yes.
"It still feels crazy that it was such a success, and having seen weirder underground music start to get some more recognition in Liverpool has been a wonderful reward.
"This year we're building on that foundation and bringing some real legends to Liverpool.
"I want this kind of music to become part of the city's identity."
Early Bird tickets priced at £15 are available via Skiddle, See Tickets and Dice FM via wrongfestival.com/tickets
