Motown

Motown is definitely musics greatest understatement up to date. The new generation of music lovers don't get to experience real, positive, ardent music, if at all. Introducing Motown to everyone would take forever, yet, is it better to stay a secret? A secret of which will only be passed to few who really appreciate the chimerical tone of old R&B and soul genres.

I decided to compile my ten favourite Motown tracks, full of soul and classic vinyl anthems:

1. My Girl - The Temptations

2. Please Mr Postman - The Marvelettes

3. You Really Got a Hold On Me - Smokey Robinson & The Miracles

4. Baby Love - The Supremes

5. Nowhere to Run - Martha Reeves & The Vandellas

6. I Can't Help Myself - The Four Tops

7. War - Edwin Starr

8. It Takes Two - Marvin Gaye & Kim Weston

9. Heard It Through the Grapevine - Marvin Gaye

10. You can't hurry Love - The Supremes

The majority of these tracks are well known, but I almost forgot how fantastic each one is. I thoroughly enjoyed myself creating this playlist, I hope you do even more so and that I have brought to life your love for Motown classics - once again!
