Windmill

WINDMILL are a brand new, harrowing duo hailing from the cryptic streets of Liverpool, consisting of arguably two of the city's most captivating songwriters; Mick Dolan and Dawn Williams and together, the pair have created a ghostly siren concoction of noise, delectably enchanting.

Their latest single, 'Birdman' is due for release 17th February and already it has been attracting the attention of radio stations and listeners alike, whether it be gaining airplay on Amazing Radio or hitting the number one spot on the Reverbnation charts.

A charming, perhaps slightly celtic chime begins the track, promptly making way for a beautiful set of harmonious vocals. Remaining at the same tempo they progress, creating an almost wild-west emotion tapping into the complex world of cultures, providing a wider accessibility for the prospective Windmill audience. A slow burning drumbeat fires the stove for a heartwarming, amiable instrumental. Beautifully spiraling into a deep subconscious wit, allowing vocals to charm, sweeping us from our feet. Williams' voice is the tribal-esque heartbeat of 'Birdman', softly caressing each preciously crafted note to fall graciously into the ears of the eager listeners.

With the prospect of an album, live dates and acoustic sessions on the horizon, Windmill are gently pushing their name into the city's limelight and I certainly cannot wait for the next installment.
