Affairs

STARTING out in Hull, now based in Manchester, quintet Affairs sprung new number, Brothers upon us a few months back, gaining fantastic coverage on a whole host of music outlets.

Bonding for their love of 80s music, the five lads have played with the likes of Alt-J and Dog Is Dead.

Recorded at The Kinks' Konk Studio and produced by Ed Buller who has previously worked with the likes of Suede and Pulp, this latest offering is their most mature to date.

Brothers has a ballad sounding, longing to be soft-rock style but it is stippled with synthetic elements, true to their early influences.

A striking semi-operatic vocalism, can be comparable with that of Morrissey, lyrically sentimental being inspired by the film Warrior (Tom Hardy) show how significant a strong lyricism is to the body of the track.

Take a look at the ethereally beautiful music video for Brothers below.
