Bang Bang Romeo

OVERPOWERING Sheffield quartet, Bang Bang Romeo have a sharp similarity to the likes of The Mamas & the Papas and Fleetwood Mac, hosting their own dark rock and roller attitude and sultry vocalism.

Starting out around five years ago, the four have travelled all around the UK, working with prestigious producers such as Chris Kimsey, previously working with the likes of The Rolling Stones and Joan Jett.

Signing to MadClubOfTwo records in late 2014, the foursome released single Johannesburg in April and received critical acclaim from the likes of Huw Stephens and Danielle Perry.

Fiery front-woman, Anastasia Walker emanates a strong vocalism, totally gutsy in power whilst a strong folk-psychedelia blows in the background.

Paying homage to southern blues, a grooving bass and prolific beat carries the weighty chords and a witchy howl. A big-band instrumental follows, atmospheric and irresistibly addictive it's incredibly hard not to fall head over heels.

Effortless from the beginning, the music video forces a tasty treat of a wild-western wilderness in a picturesque sunset plain, check it out below.

Catch more of Bang Bang Romeo at their exclusive Olympic Studio sessions on 26th November, tickets are available here.
